THIS IS WRITTEN IN BLOOD AS YOU READ!!!!!
The forum operates on a minimum post count to maintain your membership. This boils down to 2 measly posts a week. Not much is it? The forum collates activity from Sunday to Sunday. Those that fall outside the minimum post count have their accounts deleted, along with any mods or additions they may have purchased/earned however their posts will remain on the site as you are more than welcome to rejoin.
However the fact that you have been deleted will be kept on the system and if you somehow manage to be deleted 3 times then the 4th time will result in a forum ban, which lasts a month. You will not be able to rejoin until the ban is up or at Administrations discretion.
G-XF is all about activity and contribution. TRY to stay active. Thanks.
As well as the above the following rules apply:-
No Spamming.
This includes putting links to your web site in the wrong forum.
Posting in the wrong forum.
Posting things that don't make sense.
No Post Digging
Post digging is posting in topics that have not been posted in for several months. We will allow people to post in these topics if their post is not considered spam, as they may have something interesting to say to revive the topic. However posting spam comments here is the same as everywhere else.
No Advertising
If a thread advertising your forum is somewhere it won't be moved or locked, it will be deleted.
Keep Bad Language In Context
G-XF may have a lot of different age groups and a lot of users from different cultural backgrounds. Swearing doesn't always look nice or clever. Try and keep it contextual.
No Double Posting.
Don't double post. Unless nobody posts in your topic for more then 1 day.
Double posting is just like spam. Please use the Edit or Modify button if you are going to be saying something else.
No Fake Posts.
Don't post meaningless things just to raise your post count.
This is not allowed or the forum will not be interesting and just full of meaningless text.
No Aggressive behaviour.
Don't shout at each other in topics or don't argue about things.
(Note: you may argue about things, but don't flamebait or else it will lead to a fight).
Stick around.
Try your best to stay active & post as much as possible.
This isn't so much of a rule, it's more good advice.
Because if everyone stays active, the forum will be more interesting and fun!
No Racism
Don't insult a person because of their race, religion, etc. Racism = a ban. End of.
No Multiple Accounts.
Please do not make multiple accounts.
If you're getting bored of your account name then you can purchase a change of username in the G-XF Store or in extreme cases and admin change it for free, but don't have accounts just for the fun of it!
(your taking up names people might use).
If we find that you did they will be deleted immediately.
Do not ask for personal info
Bra size, how you take it - that sort of thing. It's rude.
Do not argue with staff
Please don't argue with any staff member. They usually know what they're doing, plus we hold the banhammer and the keys to your account.
Do not ask to be staff
If you ask, you will lower your chances of becoming staff.
Unsolicited Messaging
We ask that you do not send any form of messaging or advertising with or without our consent. If there is some information you would like to have included in the forum, please use the suggestion thread and the content will be reviewed and accepted/rejected accordingly.
No Content Stealing From Other Forums and Claiming It As Your Own
You must credit those who did a review or such, and the same thing goes for the below rule. CREDIT US IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE OUR CONTENT!
Do Not Share G-XF Information Without Permission!
All content posted on this forum remains the property of Generation-X Forum and it's respective posters. Any breach of this act will result in a formal warning. A repeat of this offence will result in a perma-ban.
Aside from the racism rule punishments are as follows:-
1st Offence: 24-Hour ban
2nd Offence: 1-Week ban
3rd Offence: Permanent Ban
(note: this is done by IP address)
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
